Dance Together Festival

Heads up! Our Dance Together Festival is coming up September 2020 in Amos Waites Park! Co-produced by Toronto-based dance artists Kate Nankervis and Katya Kuznetsova, this outdoor neighbourhood event is made possible through the Toronto Arts Council Animating Toronto Parks grant and is part of the Arts in the Parks programming. Local dance artists will lead dance workshops in diverse styles, including Swing, Salsa, Kizomba, Contemporary, Street Dance, and more! The festival will be FREE and open to all levels, ages and abilities.

The Wedding Dance Program

Wedding planning can get complicated but your wedding dance shouldn’t. The purpose of our Wedding Dance Program is to help make wedding dance experiences more fun and less intimidating. No prior experience is required. We have one-on-one and small group classes for the Happy Couple, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, and/or group dance choreography. Options range from learning basic skills of partner dancing to making a dance just for you – created to the song(s) of your choice and with your comfort/experience level in mind. Here is how it goes:

Step 1: Wedding Dance 101 Workshop – these run on Saturdays at 12 noon. Space is limited, please book online in advance. No prior dance experience required.

Step 2: One, two, four or six one-on-one sessions to tailor the dance to your song(s) – flexible booking schedule. If your wedding is soon and time is short, go for the Wedding Dance SOS package. If you want the basics and a complete dance, go for the Wedding Dance Basics Package. If you are planning an elaborate dance, then the Wedding Dance Super Pack is for you!

If you prefer to work one-on-one with the instructor, (rather than in a small group class) then skip the group workshops and choose a Private Lesson package. Feel free to Contact us directly to discuss what may work best for your ideas, needs and scheduling.
