This annual outdoor dance festival is part of Arts in the Parks programming and takes place in Amos Waites Park in Mimico by the Lake. Local dance artists lead dance workshops in diverse styles, including Swing, Salsa, Street Dance, Folk Dance and more! The festival is co-produced by Katya Kuznetsova and Kate Nankervis. It is FREE and open to all levels, ages and abilities.

In 2020, dancing together takes a different dimension! Instead of gathering for workshops, Dance Together Festival invites you to Dance On Map in Amos Waites Park anytime before October 4, 2020. Dancers and muralists have transformed Mimico Square into a vibrant open air dance space inspired by House, Hip Hop, Waacking, Afro-Cuban, Waltz, Jazz and Swing.  Dance On Map is open to everyone to explore. Pick a pathway to boogie, hop, roll, and make your own dance along the way!
